SUB STANDARD Living in New York city!!?

Yes it is a true statement especially for those that live in this super expensive city where if you live in a neighborhood of new immigrant, subsidized rentals, and live among the ever increasing minorities of this country but majority in this city.

The cost of paint

The cost of stain for concrete floors

The cost of light fixture for exterior

The cost of a new front door

The cost of a new garbage cans

Everything is an affordable addition to keep a standard look for an income rental. Buildings should not be SUB STANDARD in one of the riches cities in the world or any place for that matter.

Where everything will be allocated

The drawing of everything coming together will be coming soon...

Because you live in a poor neighborhood your surrounds do not have to look trashy!

It is due time we clean up and keep a our neighborhoods neat and clean. I have made and spoken to many people about this issue. Here was the gist of someone's thoughts.

  • gentrification helps bring in restaurants and many other business (this next part might sound racist but people are thinking it) since white young working started moving into some Brooklyn, Bronx neighborhood that have not had that integration before.
Unfortunately some people think this way and so do landlords, tenants and house owner. Because there neighborhood is not well kept they think it is okay to have their property or home look like this.

To pass by this everyday gets tiring....

THE GOAL>> The goal of this blog is to show how landlord, tenants, home owners can inexpensively improve their property/ homes. I will also try to reach out to these landlord with the suggestions.
